Itinerary
Day 1, (Thu) Arrive in Athens, Greece
Your vacation begins with your transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to rest or to start exploring the Hellenic capital.
Day 2, (Fri) Athens - Piraeus (Embarkation) - Mykonos
Drive to Piraeus for embarkation. Around 11 am, sail into the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea, easily settling into the cruising routine of sunbathing, sipping cool drinks, splashing in the pool, and reveling in the delights prepared by the ship's expert chefs. Later, dock at the mountainous island of Mykonos with its characteristic windmills and dazzling white houses. Time to wander at whim through narrow paved streets lined with trendy boutiques and shady taverns before returning on board.
Day 3, (Sat) Kusadasi, Turkey - Patmos, Greece
First, discover the Turkish port of Kusadasi. An optional excursion is available to the fascinating Greek, Roman, and byzantine excavations of Ephesus. Next the tiny Greek island of Patmos, where St. John the Divine wrote the Revelation. The 11th-century monastery with its valuable manuscript collection is well worth a visit.
Day 4, (Sun) Heraklion - Santorini
Early arrival in Heraklion on Crete. A few miles away is Knossos, the center of the 3000 BC Minoan civilization, and an optional excursion can be booked. Afternoon call (weather permitting) at Santorini, the "Black Pearl of the Aegean." The optional shore excursion is available to the cliff-top village of Thera for one of the world's most breathtaking panoramas.
Day 5, (Mon) Piraeus, Greece (Disembarkation) - Athens
After breakfast on board, disembark at Piraeus and return to Athens. The rest of the day is free to catch up on last-minute shopping.
Day 6, (Tue) Flight home
Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
